1. Data We Collect

We process account details, workspace identifiers, configuration metadata, usage metrics, and security-relevant logs needed to deliver analytics and governance features.

We also process names, email addresses, and organization metadata needed for account administration.

When you use the Service to analyze Tableau workbooks, we process:

  • Workbook metadata and structure
  • Data source configurations (connection types, not credentials)
  • Usage statistics from your Tableau environment
  • Field names and calculated field formulas

We do not access or store your actual Tableau data values. We only process metadata and structural information needed for analysis.

We collect data from:

  • You and your organization administrators
  • Your use of the Service
  • Connected third-party systems you authorize

2. How We Use Data

Data is used to operate the service, generate analytics insights, route alerts, and support customer workflows.

Telemetry from your BI environments is used only for Antares service operation and governance workflows.

  • Secure authentication and session management.
  • Product reliability and performance analytics in aggregate.
  • Abuse detection and prevention.
  • Customer support and service communications.
  • Marketing communications only where permitted by law and your settings.

Where required by applicable law, we rely on one or more legal bases: contract performance, legitimate interests, consent, and legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

3. Sharing and Retention

We share data only with processors and partners needed to run the service and only under contractual or legal obligations.

Data is retained only as long as needed for service delivery, legal compliance, and legitimate audit obligations, including configured retention settings in your environment.

If we transfer personal data across borders, we use recognized transfer mechanisms (for example, standard contractual clauses) where required.

For business customers, a Data Processing Addendum (DPA) is available to govern processor obligations.

4. Security and Your Rights

We use encryption in transit, role-based access, audit trails, and least-privilege operations for production environments.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.

California residents may have rights to know, delete, correct, and access portability information, and to limit certain sensitive personal information uses where applicable.

Canadian users may request access and correction under PIPEDA principles.

We verify rights requests before processing them and may request additional information to confirm identity or authority.

5. Website Analytics and Cookies

Our marketing website (getantares.io) uses Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors interact with our pages — which pages are visited, how users arrive, and where they navigate. This helps us improve the site experience.

Google Analytics uses cookies (small text files stored in your browser) to distinguish unique visitors. We load analytics in cookieless mode by default using Google Consent Mode v2. Cookies are only set after you explicitly accept them via the consent banner.

If you decline cookies, Google Analytics continues to operate in a limited, cookieless mode that does not identify or track you individually. You can change your preference at any time using the “Cookie Settings” link in the page footer.

We do not use analytics data to identify individual visitors, build advertising profiles, or sell data to third parties. Analytics data is retained for 14 months and then automatically deleted.

This section applies only to the getantares.io marketing website. The Antares application (app.getantares.io) does not use Google Analytics or third-party tracking cookies.
